~ Next Meeting ~

Our next meeting will be on Thursday, June 12th, at 5:30 p.m. at the Northwest Reno Library.

ATC chair, Bob Tregilus, will do a short presentation on Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology. V2G is really exciting - find out how your car can earn you over $3,000 per year just for being plugged-in and available to electric grid operators to provide storage, grid regulation, and to offset the high cost of spinning reserves! We will also discuss future plans for the group.

~ EVents! ~

None at this time, however, mark your calendars for October 3-5. Details are still in the works, but Sherry Boschert, author of Plug-in Hybrids: The Cars that will Recharge America will be addressing the Reno Mensa chapter at the Sliver Legacy. The ATC has been invited to display a few cars and will likely receive discount tickets to the talk. Details will follow as they become available.
